Enigma Quartet
Enigma Quartet is an intrepid Sydney-based string quartet acclaimed for its vibrant and dynamic performance style. Their typically 60 minute programs are characterised by an eclectic mix of classic & contemporary music, appealing to audiences both young and old alike.
Enigma has a vibrant and innovative approach to a wide range of musical styles, performing alongside some of the top Australian and International contemporary artists. As well as providing string backing for live concerts, the quartet is widely experienced with studio recordings having worked on music albums, film scores, commercial advertising, collaborative projects, theatre and gaming soundtracks. Their down-to-earth approach, accuracy and speed with learning and recording charts as well as their polished presentation also make them an ideal choice for commercial bookings.
The quartet have appeared several times on Australian Idol, the Today Show, Sunrise, Mornings with Kerri-Anne and Domestic Blitz. Some of the artists the quartet and members have recorded for and performed alongside include Angus & Julia Stone, Passenger, Mike Patton, Lior, Katie Noonan, Guy Sebastian, The Cat Empire, Kanye West, Ronan Keating, David Campbell, Florence and the Machine, Jimmy Barnes, Wendy Matthews, Mark Lizotte, Tina Arena, Human Nature, the Fray, Hayley Westenra, Patrizio Buanne, Il Divo and Missy Higgins.
Street Art Murals Australia (SAMA) is Australia’s largest street art social venture. Established in 2008, SAMA has painted over 360 professional street art murals for a wide range of public and private clients. Notably SAMA has completed commissioned works for Lead Lease, The Big Day Out Music Festival, Amnesty International, Scenic World, NSW Rail Corp, and Pfizer. SAMA’ employs an awarding winning and innovative asset based community development approach to graffiti. Founder Jarrod Wheatley is a published author and highly regarded authority in the area of Graffiti Management Strategies.
